agriculture industries. We currently have an opening for a MAPCON Administrator at our Cambridge,
Nebraska location.
Description
The MAPCON Administrator is responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and
systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives
of the company. The MAPCON Administrator provides leadership and guidance on effective operation of the CMMS
system (MAPCON).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assists Maintenance Supervisor in planning and scheduling work for Maintenance Technicians. Develop work schedules that include PM's corrective work orders, etc. including, but not limited to weekly work schedules.
- Helps determine work requirements with regard to equipment availability, labor, skills, materials and tools, for all major PM's.
- Maintain and enter planned information into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Provide or review planning and scheduling metrics and understand impact on processes.
- Communicates directly with operations, maintenance department to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
- Coordinate parts availability prior to scheduling work and maintain proper parts inventories.
- Participates in safety, health, and environmental programs. Works in a safe manner at all times.
- Assist with development of annual overhaul/shutdown schedules.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED and three years experience in the maintenance and /or operation of a ethanol process manufacturing facility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of an ethanol plant, chemical plant, or refinery maintenance is an asset.
- Experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment is required.
- Successful candidates will have knowledge of Process Safety Management and the ability to work closely with internal operations team.
- Must have strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office suite programs and MAPCON maintenance software.
